I have no issues with Dr. Collins, I love his attentiveness, however, the front desk staff could use some training, and be more sensitive to patient needs. They don't know how to calculate out of pocket expenses in a timely manner, phone calls don't get returned in a reasonable time frame. They will give you the run around repeatedly. I asked for the name of the office manager and was told that they couldn't give me that information, even though I've previously spoken with her. The office manager was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I did speak with her, and was able to give me my out of pocket costs for my next visit within minutes. So, there are pros and cons, but when the first points of contact make it difficult to communicate and get accurate information in a timely manner,it can easily turn a person away from doing any business. Again, Dr. Collins is great, and his office manager is as well. Update: Dr. Collins did an amazing job with my wisdom tooth extraction. I was able to listen to my headphones to keep me distracted. The local anesthesia wasn't a fraction as bad as my imagination had me thinking, and it was so much cheaper. I had minimal bleeding, and absolutely NO SWELLING at all. Took my meds and rested for a couple days, and had no pain. Just follow the instructions sheet, and you'll be fine.
